Ron Carter This Week; New CD with McCoy Tyner on the 23rd
Ron Carter is performing this week at the Blue Note with his stellar trio featuring Mulgrew Miller and Russell Malone through the 21st. Just two days later, McCoy Tyner will release a CD/DVD on McCoy Tyner Music/Half Note Records titled GUITARS featuring sp. guests John Scofield, Derek Trucks, Marc Ribot, Bill Frisell and Bela Fleck alongside trio mates Jack DeJohnette, and (you guessed it!), Ron Carter.
